The Tokyo Sake Challenge 2026 will take place on March 28, 2026.

We are currently accepting applications from qualified Judges to evaluate sake and other beverages submitted by breweries from Japan and abroad. This year’s Judge application is open to both domestic and international SSA-qualified Sake Sommeliers.

Please read the following information carefully before submitting your application:

• Application deadline: January 25, 2026
• Successful candidates will be contacted by the end of January 2026
• Judges are responsible for arranging their own transport and accommodation
• An online introduction training session is mandatory and must be attended
• We will also be selecting Head Judges – please indicate your interest in the form (this will be evaluated separately after Judge selection)
• Additional details will be shared with successful applicants.
